So I reinstalled NV and modded it up to snuff. I've always just kinda richarded around in it, but now I want to get something a little more substantial. Maybe not the main quest, but what are some good quests that take a bit longer than find this, do that, or clear this place?

get a world of pain. basically what you're talking about.

Does anyone else love how powerful the 10mm Pistol sounds in the gameplay trailer?

Hopefully it's not horrendously underpowered as it has been.

It can't be that much more powerful than a 9mm, it's just 1mm difference...
I'm no gun expert though :/

It did kill a mole rat in a couple of shots. Not that I think I have tried the 10mm on a mole rat though, I'm guessing that it was a couple of more shots to put the thing down.

It did seem to feel better to shoot a gun.

Already saw it, it's just what they showed at the Microsoft conference without Todd speaking over it.

Even without Todd it looks gorgeous.
I hope someone mods Todd in as some sort of NPC.

Shut the forget up, was he really?

I think my favorite part of New Vegas was how awesome the gibbing was.  It's almost nonsensical and hilariously physics breaking.  You shoot an arm and all other limbs explode, sending the body flopping in the air with a ton of gibs.
