it seems that bethesda still can't get good voice actors
It fit the tone, cheesy 50's informational video

Though man, poor vault boy :(

can't really say I like Bethesda's idea of what they think is retro-scifi. It's more retro than scifi when compared to it's predecessors.

the best retro-scifi theme is something like the stuff in Alien

everything about the idea of the beige crt aesthetic surviving the apocalypse is wonderful

Yeah I agree with this.

So I was playing New Vegas' Honest Hearts DLC, I walk out of the General Store and a Giant Cazador spawns and is right in my face. These forgeters kill me in 2 swift hits; so I loving paused the game and quit.

I can safely say that I've died more to Cazadors than to deathclaws.

ProTip when fighting cazadores:

  • Shoot cazadore
  • Run behind companion
  • Companions shoots cazadore and takes most of the damage
  • Stave off any possible and damage and kill the cazadore

i never found cazadors as game-threatening as everyone seems to think of them as
just stay back and they can't get you

that;s the thing though, they're everywhere and in packs usually. even high-level characters can get killed by them, wearing power-armor and all.

Fighting Cazadors early level

I came to fear them automatically due to all the posts making them out to be deathclaw-tier, but after stumbling into aggro range by accident one time they barely posed a threat and have been easily mowed down every encounter since

They must be playing on max difficulty

I stuff you not I thought the exact same way.... Then I met the Giant Cazadors.

they seemed relatively easy to me even on very hard
but if i ever see a deathclaw i turn the forget around

giant cazadores are easier. the reason regular ones suck so much is because their animations suck ass and make them impossible to hit while moving. when you double the size it gets sooo much easier to actually hit the damn things
