Anyone notice laser weapons bounce off metal armor?

That's cool, that has been a feature since Fallout 1,2 and NV. I'm surprised they added that.
which is strange for me as metal armor is the anti-ballistic side of the metal/leather armor contest

Shiny metal reflects light.

Laser weapons are beams of light.

There was actually a perk in the original games that you deflect laser attacks easier with polished metal.

doesn't really make sense for lasers to bounce off of leather tho

Finally found X-01 armor, all I've been finding for a while is the T60.

it was in new vegas too but the perk was completely nonfunctional and had absolutely no use.
the funny part about it, iirc it was a part of the perks included in dead money, further proving how stuff of an expansion that it was.

hey.
dead money had atmosphere out the ass. it just wasn't much fun to play is all.

Brotherhood gives you a free set. Also T-60s will stop spawning when X-01s start spawning IIRC.

I think there's an X-01 outside Fort Strong?

There's one in 35 Court as well

the game depends on the level of the player when the cell is loaded to determine what type is spawned. some cells are a 100% chance to spawn a full suit of armor, whilst others only spawn with a few parts. your luck stat may also be a factor in deciding what armor and how many pieces the game spawns for you. if you want x-01, dont bother looking until your past level 28. also try not to enter indoor cells (buildings, ie 35 court) until you are a certain level to make sure you get the armor you want.

also dont bother looking for t-60, just cap a brotherhood knight or follow him until he is killed after he jumps down from the vertibird and take his armor. you can remove the paint.

Dead Money was one of my favourites :(

The poison swamps in Dark Souls aren't fun to play either but people still do it. It's nice when a developer includes an area that is purposely infuriating.
