"12. Every companion has a special skill, and it’s not always super obvious"
If this is true, i'd really like someone to list those skills.
Codsworth can occasionally give you purified water and Cait I think gives you chems

This is as much as I know, most of it from the Wikis.

I don't need companions. Since they can't die I choose not to use them.

Raider settlements would be cool, or at least some raider themed decorations, like hanging bodies, chains and hooks, heads on spikes.

They did miss a trick in not including a variety of themed settlement items.
Institute, BoS, Raider, Pre-war, Military, Super Mutant, etc...

If I could pay someone to install some mutilated corpses in my Megaton house I should definitely be able to do it myself in my personal settlement built from the ground up.

They put too much stuff into that to the point where it's super obvious it is fan made. That's why I haven't downloaded it.

more options the better for me

I want it believable but not to the point where the game gets ridiculous.

If you hit Q (on keyboard) when the loading screen is up, whatever's being displayed will turn bright green.
actually it turns the model into whatever color your pip-boy / hud is (can't remember which, i think it might be hud though)

I got rid of the few weapon damage-modifying mods I had and replaced them with one singular weapon overhaul mod and well

How cool would it be if instead of creating friendly settlements I could create raider camps? Be a leader of my own raider faction.
Something like this should have been in the game. You could build up the settlements under the Minutemen flag or your own.

yeah thats a good point

Only thing I question is how npcs work.

If you're going to have raiding parties settlers can't be essential.
If settlers aren't essential, what of important questgivers?
If questgivers don't die, that's stuff and unrealistic.
If questgivers can die at the hands of nameless mindless raiders, that's stuff and annoying.

Furthermore, how do the settlements repopulate? Or do you eventually destroy it all and have forget all to do? (it makes more sense for new raider parties to take over cleaned out raider bases than for settlers to keep resettling on the sight of a massacre).

What mod did you download?

I am also sick of these borderlands style weapons.
