Good news! I'm actually a loving idiot!

Just reloaded and re-completed Mass Fusion, jumping back by about 4 hours of gametime.
Finished it and Pinned started, and I went to Father and spoke to him and recognised all he said.

So I loaded back into my original save, to find that I misread my Pipboy and no one is giving me the next quest because I'm already on it. :/

Its honestly not that hard to figure out though. I was like 7 when I played it and I was able to figure it out.

Sure, when you were 7, because a lot of games were still like that 12 years ago so it wasn't that hard to adapt

not really. the game is quite easy once you learn the basics, like any other "hard" game.

Yes, once you learn the basics, either by reading the manual or trial and error that will probably get you killed

Project Nevada is a must.

There are a bunch of other good ones that I cant think of currently, though. So I'd just browse the top mods on the Nexus for awhile.

They should all be on the top files list on the Nexus, including some other ones you'll probably want

I didn't think a manual was necessary for the original Fallout games, but the controls are definitely inconvenient and it's annoying to play

Hooray, after feeling like a tit, I finished a couple of super simple missions, earnt some achievements and am about to destroy the Brotherhood with the Railroad!

Plus I finally got a Gatling laser!
