Author Topic: steam now offers refunds  (Read 9531 times)

Steam isn't really loosing anything with a refund. You're just "swapping" one game for another, another two, another three, whatever you can buy with refunded credit. The purchase was still made at one point in time.

If you made a purchase with a credit/debit card it gets refunded to that instead of your Wallet as long as there aren't any problems

no u don't
i made the starting cell just like it says to make it & it's never considered "finished"
it's buggy as hell and is not worth 30 dollars and if i didn't get it through humble bundle i'd probably shoot my eyeballs
Works fine for me

Also I got my refund accepted just in time for the sale. $47 more to spend.

Ah my mistake.

I just got Jazzpunk refunded and I bought the game barely within 6 months ago, with around 4 hours playtime on it.

This refund thing makes me very happy.

why
Maybe his PC can't run the game or maybe it runs very poorly idk.

:( Jazzpunk is my favorite game of all time.

Man I just sent in a request to refund BeamNG.drive and it only took one hour for them to refund it. Now I just have to wait the 7 days to get the money.

he can play the game, I've seen him post about it in the gta v thread before
not that I'm opposing why he's refunding it but I'm curious

There's nothing more I want than to refund Elite: Dangerous. But 10 hours is too much.
Man 49,99 EUR. :(

Incredibly dumb that after they tell us we will be getting a refund we have to wait instead of getting it right then.

hes played it for 55 hours so im assuming he just wants 55 hours of free play time of a triple A game

Not necessarily directing this at him because I don't know the full story, but anyone who's getting a refund purely for the sake of getting money and not because the game doesn't work or it's absolutely terrible is complete trash and I hope Steam revokes your refunding privileges before you can ruin this for the rest of us

Thousands of refund requests that need to be examined take time to approve, go figure

I'm sure you can live without it for a whole week
