zweihander swords are the best greatswords

Both are good weapons; heavy enough to smash through armor when half-swording, pointed to retain the thrust, wide enough to parry, and retaining the iconic shape of a sword.

nothing beats a good ol falchion

the fire emblem weapon triangle taught me that swords beat axes, axes beat lances, and lances beat swords.

that's all I learned

I like a good hand-and-a-halfer.

How about it's phillipino cousin, the Kampilan?

WEAPONS DO NOT BEAT ONE ANOTHER
Every weapon has it's strengths and weaknesses depending on the situation, a rock is better than a rifle in close-quarters combat. A longsword is better than a knife because you can reach them before they can you, but the knife is more manuverable when you get close. Same goes for sword-on-spear combat.

I like a good hand-and-a-halfer.
From what I gather, that's not actually a real type of sword. 'Broadsword' is a better term, 'arming sword' if the hilt only allows a single hand.

THE BEST MOTHERloving SWORD!
