the master sword would be fine if it was wielded like a claymore

its design would still be bad but it'd be usable

skyrim's weapons were waaay too beefy. i'd like to think that it's like xcom guns, though - oversized, but nobody's trying to say otherwise.

Lil' love for the Mambele.

anything that was adapted from agriculture probably didn't make a very good weapon

Yeah I suppose a pitchfork would be very useful for... whatever it is they're doing in that drawing. Not exactly sure what the picture is. It's a group of people fighting and more polearms and swords than farming tools by the looks of it.

And yes people did in fact kill other people with farming tools when that was all they had. But very few farming tools were actually modified into weapons of war and even then weren't used massively.

Im going to let you sword cigarettes circle jerk peacefully
but know that blunt weapons and pole arms are literally the best thing ever

I mean swords aren't the be-all-end-all of war. Pole-arms were pretty much superior in terms of war strategy, cost of production, and use in field combat (well, in terms of just spears I guess). They were still weapons with several different uses depending on the sword.

But modified farming tools are still pretty useless by comparison.

A polearm is more useful than a sword, yes. But what looks better; a good swordfight or a good halberd fight?
...A good halberd fight because they're so rare.

yes sword fights are pretty.
on a friendlier note, soon my friends!

I prefer Tomahawks and War axes to swords.

Come on, lets not forget the beast that is the Long bearded axe

or the tomahawk

Enough weight to get through armor, very easy to repair and make, cheap, and deadly

Also, I suggest y'all check out this guy. He does historical arms and armor as well as knife reviews.

Here are some personal favorites of mine:

THE [ size=20pt]BEST [ size=30pt]MOTHERloving [ size=40pt] SWORD![/size]

but that wouldn't even be correct cause chainsaws get gummed up really easily with more viscous objects otherwise known as literally anything that isn't wood plus the fact that the point is useless because a stabbing manuever would do nothing combined with the fact that the angle makes it impossible for that chainsaw ring in the first place

plus you've completely nullified the katana part of it by adding a ring of chains to it and either that's too small a fuel tank for extended usage or too big for practical use
also that is what appears to be a nuclear explosion i advise you to clear the area

edit: not to mention the fact that the chainsaw wouldn't be enough to get through armor
