You finally make it to the library in your car after refueling. You see the paperboy from earlier that hit you with the newspaper by accident.

"Hi there, Mister! Sorry about the earlier accident!"

beat the living stuff out of him.

You briefly consider beating the paperboy into a bloody pulp, but you can't bring yourself to it. Theres too many witnesses, and you see a SWAT Van speeding by.

As you walk the steps up the library, you see a group of people protesting books. "Save a tree! Burn a book!" They cry out repeatedly. You enter the library and immediately see moderately sized line of people turning in their books. One look at your watch tells you that you have an hour until 12:00, and then the book is overdue.

Book overdue in: 60 minutes.

You run through the library, cutting through the line and grabbing a book about Ghandi's teachings. A few people try to stop you, but quick deployment of marbles nonlethally trips them. As the others in line stare ,you quickly drop the book in the book deposit.

Errand Completed: Return book before its overdue.



Immediately after you deposit the book, however, you hear an alarm ring. Everyone immediately flees the building. You get caught up in the crowd and trampled slightly, stunning you for a few minutes. Once you do come back to your senses, however, you realize that the library is on fire.



Two book protesters burst into the room guns blazing. One of them shouts at you.

"BOOK LOVING SCUM! SAVE A TREE, BURN A BOOK!"
