I get 80 down and like 10 up

What is usually most important is distance between players. Having two people in the same region can make the lag pretty bearable, but I recall playing Koopa (who lives in Michigan or middle Canada or something, somewhere north of IL) from Chicago and getting a ping of greater than 64, which seriously affected what I was able to do, being a fox main.

So yall you should post where you live (just the area of the state, like Northern IL for example) so we can evaluate what the matches might be like.

koopascooper got an internet upgrade and gets like 55 down and like 10 up so

last 3 posters all live within 50 miles of each other (me included) probably

It definitely impacted both of our performances negatively, with me not being able to use rest effectively, and all reads having to be hard reads.  It was difficult for sure.  (also south-west ontario bordering michigan)

This still won't change my ping a whole lot.  I still have to go thru the same stuffty servers to reach american ISPs.

At lowest I get ~50 down and up. I live on the east coast near DC.

What did I miss
Nal's gonna host a melee netplay tourney.

Yeah so when yall see the results remember the lag factor :p

For the newbies, yall should learn some basic tech, it's not actually very hard to execute with a few minutes of practice.
l cancelling
wavedashing
dash dancing
teching
ledgehops and other ledge options

If yall want explanations of any of these lmk but google should be enough

Nal's gonna host a melee netplay tourney.
oh speaking of

Has dolphin updated recently?
Is there netplay support for 32-bit systems yet
Maybe my windows 10 copy will be 64-bit but I'm still curious

Every netplay-capable version of Dolphin I've seen is 32-bit.

Reminder to use Dolphin 4.0-6554
It's the build they use on the anthersladder guide that I posted

forget me

prepare for a puff ditto koopa LOL
