removing doubles fixes this

removing doubles fixes this
Removing doubles smooths the entire model, so you still wouldn't have the correct smoothing groups

I'd have to re-create the way a model looks from scratch, which wouldn't be too difficult, but it'd still suck to have to do something that i probably don't have to if there's a way to fix this if it's just something on my end

when im trying to import dts models either none or some objects are present, but the empties and bounds are always showing

idk what im doing wrong
I got this problem as well. Now I can't edit any .dts files at all.

that happens to me a lot. usually i just import it twice

ignore the above post. use sketchup

fr tho it seems the importer is broke af for some reason

any models imported will be completely edge split, but if you go into edit mode of said mesh and undo a few times, it will show up as normal. its as if its getting completely edge split during the import process

should contact port to get it fixed

An imported model has no history to undo except it's import, even in edit mode, except you can't undo imports in edit mode, so nothing happens

somehow i did it then, cause once thats what happened to me when i imported a model and went into edit mode

So yesterday my animations were totally fine but now one is forgeted up majorly and I can't fix it at all, I can't even revert to a previous .blend

Here's a link to a post of my look animation working totally fine recently:

https://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=314745.msg9736715#msg9736715

Here's what it looks like now:

It seems to be rotated 90 degrees counter-clockwise (and also there is now a very obvious shimmering/shaking)
I had this issue a while ago and I was able to forget it out somehow but I'm not having any luck this time. From what I can tell, giving 4 bones (mount1-4) reference animations might've caused it to stuff itself but the problem persists with old blends and even after deleting the bones at this point so I have no idea what to do
The workaround did work after trying it a couple more times.

Someone suggested that I make sure that my animation is linear and not curved but it didn't work

Make sure you have that one text thing all set up properly. That's what was happening with my animations when I didn't set those up right.

aka Sequences, and the priorities on them. Refer to the last portion of the DTS exporter FAQ
https://github.com/qoh/io_scene_dts/blob/master/FAQ.md

Any updates so far? I was able to import vehicle files, but weapon files are still broken. Using import twice doesn't fix the problem, and I'm not sure where to find a .dts importer for Sketchup
