And where would this money come from? If I'm not mistaken, his campaign is going to cost a stuff load of money and he MAY NOT WIN. There has to be a hell of a lot of money for a seasoned businessman to take the gamble that A. he will win the republican nomination and the B. will beat out the Democratic/other candidates to win.

Actually I believe he originally planned to run for president as a publicity stunt. Then he decided to run his mouth about mexicans and everyone burned their bridges with him so now he actually has to do it.
