Author Topic: Windows 10 Thread | I AM LATE BUT IT'S HERE FOR A LOT OF PEOPLE  (Read 134933 times)

Why a VM?
Why not just dual boot like everyone else?

Because I have no reason to dual-boot and my computer's fast enough to do anything in VM's?

Also not to mention dual-booting doesn't give me the advantage of running both Linux and Windows at the same time

there are other ways to accomplish things...

Needed to install drivers for Windows 10 but I ran across something that caught my eye

Only AT&T

they're stealing your drivers from your computer

I knew Windows 10 privacy was bad, but I wasn't aware it was this blatant

if the counter is going up it should be uninstalling your drivers  :cookieMonster:

Do you want to continue over PM, by the way?
I really don't think there's much to argue about, because it all comes down to preference. No matter what, there is always the possibility that a bot is looking at private data, and the statistically impossible chance that a person does. If this bothers you, frankly any modern OS isn't for you. Even XP could send detailed performance and crash data if a program shut down too fast.

It's so far reminding me of an updated version of Windows 7, which is a pretty good thing. I disabled/removed a lot of stuff (OneDrive, Cortana, etc) to help give it that feel.
