Your mom's room, look for mementos
Break out into tears
Also look for your phone charger
You find a picture of your mom smiling and sitting in a wheelchair as she looks through the nursery glass at the hospital at you. You realize that your dad took the picture. You cry. Then you grab your phone charger.
You go through her room looking for goodies. You find an envelope stash of money in her nightstand drawer and count $345, no doubt for paying bills. You also take a pen, a pad of paper, and a small bottle of pepper spray. When you check her closet, you find a small lunchbox-sized safe with combination entry. You don't know the combination.
You toss your findings on the couch. You can't carry all of this stuff on your person.
