"So...how did you know I was going to be at my aunt's house?" you ask.
"Well, I didn't. At first. I had already left my home and was heading down here when she called me yesterday to say that you were heading to Richmond to start living with her."

Ask him where he got the gun from.
"Where did you get your gun?"
He smiles and asks, "Why do you wanna know?"
"I don't know. Just curious."
"I got it from a friend in Vermont. He collects guns, particularly those used in warfare past and present. He mailed it to me a few years ago."
Ask him what he knows about your parents. Don't mention the Rico thing in case he's after it
"I've been asking around family members to see if they know anything that I don't about my parents. What were they like?"
Your uncle is visibly disturbed and shifts uncomfortably.
"Well, my sis (your mom) were pretty close. We talked to each other about absolutely everything as kids and all the way up until she died. We were only a year apart and did everything together until we left our mother to go separate ways. She got married. I didn't, it just wasn't for me. Still she talked to me over the phone a couple times a week."
Your uncle's eyes grow dark with hatred. You are utterly scared out of your mind about this change and brace yourself.
"I remember how upset she was....when your father left."
He sits quietly staring off into nothing. His veins bulge and he opens and closes his fists.
"I swore to myself that I would avenge that man. Take back what my sis deserves. He gave his life for her for better or worse at the altar. I'm gonna get that life and bring it back. That..."
He stops and snaps back to reality.
"Let's go" he says gruffly. He pays for the food, including yours. You get up and follow him. He goes out the front door to the truck. In front of the truck is a police officer writing on a notepad studying the front end and copying the plates. His squad car is parked next to the truck.
"What's the matter, officer?" your uncle asks.
"Sir!" the officer bellows, "I have a warrant for your arrest for child endangerment and neglect. Please come with me."
Your uncle walks to the officer and puts his hands behind his back. He gets handcuffed and placed in the police car.
"Son," he says to you, "Are you the one who called the police a few hours ago?"
"Uh..." you say, "Yeah?"
"Has this man harmed you in any way today?"
"No...not really."
"I'd like for you to come along with me please."
He opens the passenger door of the police car for you to get in. He says he's taking you to the police department. Your uncle sits quietly in the back seat looking out the window as it starts to rain.
