Author Topic: Why do people commit Self Delete?  (Read 16661 times)

people always get all weird when i tell em im casually suicidal, but like think about it

how forgetin nuts would it be to open mic, and bomb for 15 minutes, and then at the end of the set, tell the most killer joke in your arsenal, and then just blow your brains out all over the brick wall in the background. tell me that wouldn't be the most badass Self Delete ever.
the budd dwyer bomb drop

pageloss:
Self Delete is stupid, im not making fun of people who did it it's just stupid
because its "a permanent solution to a temporary problem"
also im sorry but those people who post cutting pictures for attention and cut over losing a boyfriend/girlfriend are stupid.

cutting pictures for attention

that's what they want. attention. but depression makes them don't think right and they end up doing selfharm for attention, it's frowned uppon, and it makes the person feel more bad.

people who show their cutting scars are looking for attention, whether it be online or in real life. some people cut because when you bleed, your body releases endorphins, and the feeling some compare to using opioids. if you never tell anyone, then it's not for attention.

What the forget, are people saying it's not wrong to commit Self Delete? Stop being handicapped.

Self Delete is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Everything gets better. There is support you can get to help you fight the feelings, it is not necessary to end your life early and put an end to all the things you can possibly achieve just because of how you feel at a certain time.

In most cases, other people are also affected by the Self Delete such as family.
Explain to me how it's "wrong" to take your own life.. It's not a pleasant or sensible thing to do in most rational mindsets but it's totally your prerogative. And as for all the people saying it's a permanent solution to a temporary problem: who are you to know everyone's problems and the expiry dates on them?

Nobody knows the expiry dates on their problems but the pain of something is unlikely to go on for more than 5 years, and that's stretching it. If you are still being hurt after 5 years it means that the problem is still in your life but common sense would be to get what is causing your distress out of your life.

And secondly it's wrong for that reason, it's a decision made when you are in an unstable mind set which means it's completely irrational.

its like bisjac is still in his edgy, angsty stage of adolescence and never grew out, just added some "i dont give a forget" attitude on top of it

actually, thinking depression is bullstuff and depressed people are full of stuff is the exact opposite of an angsty adolescent; whom seeks out reasons to slit his wrist and hates himself.

you are dumb

if you think depression is bullstuff you are the dumb one

if you think depression is bullstuff you are the dumb one
people lie on the internet about stuff for attention, and depression is one of the largest things to lie about.
e.g. tumblr

yeah, that happens. but REAL depression isn't something to ignore.

lmao

oh no I didn't ignore a post that was actually a little relevant omg lmao rofl

i dont give a stuff if people fake it or not. i wont acknowledge it regardless.
its a personal problem brought on by themselves, and like every other disability, they  end up sharing the burden with others. people without self responsibility deserve no help.

Why do you prioritise life over everything else? It's completely up to the person making the decision, stable or not.

if you don't help them they will never have self responsibility.
