I live in New York, police officers have barged down a man's door and forcibly committed him in a mental institution for 3 days, for investigating police corruption. There has been no punishment for the police officers involved in this case. So yeah, public outrage is required to get stuff done.

Anyways I don't think this is a case of police brutality. Anyone who believes so is probably an idiot.

Here's the video, in case anyone was curious. You really can't make out any particular words, but I don't see any beating going on in this video. Yeah, he was put on the ground and handcuffed but I didn't see any of them stepping outside their bounds. Without any context (the cops were blocking the door, so we can't see what caused the fight to break out) there's no way to actually tell what happened. Let's not get all sensational, we don't know what did or didn't happen yet.

Seriously, watch the video. Nothing obviously wrong happened.
