do not get the cm storm devastator combo - it's an ok combo but I really don't recommend it (it also pains me to see it with a rig like this.)

if you're trying to fit it in your budget that's fine but I recommend upgrading later

This would be a good keyboard and I'm sure the forums even have better suggestions

Additional suggestions, which I'm sure the forums have some good ones too.

Those are nice boards o.o Do you know any of them with a solid white glow I also have a Logitech proteus so maybe a blue keyboard would work better

update the op Does anyone know any guides to building a computer like bios etc

the raw keyboard only glows white

the normal apex board can change colour to whatever you want

building is pretty simple, I don't know much about BIOS

building wise just be gentle with the parts and have penitence, it's somewhat like a lego set and just requires you to find the right spots which are usually labeled

You don't actually build the bios, but you need to be able to get around it and set the boot orders. I think the newegg tutorial touches up on it. You should watch that.

But, really, EXACTLY what Badger said. Imagine the motherboard is like a lego plate and you are just adding stuff into the right places.
Except, don't drop your PSU onto your motherboard (put it in before the motherboard). You don't have to if you actually install it upright where the mobo is up like a picture frame. lol.
but yeah, usually you should put in the motherboard first because it is easier to maneuver.

Yay linus haha Thanks I'll be sure to watch this and read look up the tutorial on New egg, I'll post further updates and what the psu o.o?

I wouldn't go for that monitor. Try out a 144hz monitor, there's a huge difference.

this guy is just talking to be talking lol

dont stress much on the monitor, the one you got is fine

yeah get something like this for a monitor

I just realized the one you have selected is 4K

if you're doing art I think that's better actually

well, no, not exactly. if he wants 4k, he can have it. but if your gonna buy a 2000 dollar computer you might as well go all the way, yknow? although now that im looking into it, anything greater than 60hz is a serious price jump. no such thing as cheap in the world of 4k monitors i suppose

Here's a quick build I put together.

-For the CPU I have the Core i7-6700K which is out of stock right now so I would recommend waiting a couple weeks for other sites to start carrying it. The hyperthreading should result in seamless video editing and having fewer faster cores than the enthusiast platform should lead to superior gaming performance.
-For the CPU cooler I've got the H100i which is compatible with the LGA 1151 socket mobo.
-For the memory I went with a dual channel kit of DDR4 which leaves 2 open DIMM slots for super expansions if you would ever need to (and you shouldn't)
-For the boot drive I went with an Samsung M.2 SSD for crazy boot times. The computer at my work has a restart time of 5 seconds with this very same SSD.
-For bulk storage I would recommend getting 2TB, 3TB, or 4TB drives exclusively since they have a lower price/GB than 1TB drives. Just add more drives when you need them. It wouldn't be a bad idea to look into a home server for your storage either.
-GPU is the 980 Ti, nuff said.
-According to PC part picker this build would run fine with a 500W power supply but with an unlocked CPU and GPUBoost it would be silly to do that. 750W gives us plenty of overhead for overclocking.
-OS is Windows 10 Home because 8 sucks and Pro isn't worth the extra cost.

I like everything except the HDD.
The green series is low-power usage, low noise, low performance.
Get a blue or black

missing a tower?

or is it just using the one he previously selected

get a more powerful power supply. it's better to have a lot of extra so that you have room for future upgrades than to have one that'll just get you by.

here's a list of some good quality power supplies

It's listed NZXT H440 and damn that 6700k Chip looks good, I'll add it to the OP that might be an alternative since it's about the same price as 4770, i'll be sure to do more researcho

A 3280 x 2160 144 hertz monitor does not exist at the momento I understand your reasoning but only if :(
