yeah because I just go by numbers
ID-TAGGED SOLDIERS USE ID-TAGGED WEAPONS, USE ID-TAGGED GEAR

i dont really care for the story but that giant robot thing looks cool

dont be surprised at the incredibly obvious homoerotic overtones, MGS is full of camp

don't be afraid of them either though
absorb them into your body

Read as Final Fantasy MGSV:TPP

Apparently the story is actually the most lacking part of the game. Gameplay is the absolute bomb, though, according to reviews.
Well supposedly this is supposed to tie everything up in a neat bow, so the story is going to be different yes

Taboo you should remove the spoiler from the title, some people might not want a spoiler for the boss. (I already knew about it but other people might not)

Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within: The Phantom Pain.

Expect rule 34 of Sahelanthropus

Sahelanthropus x REX

on that note I'm pretty sure rule 34 of every Metal Gear exists already.

I'm sure of it. People make robot research all the time, I'm fairly sure mechas are somewhere in that mix.

I'm just saying every other Metal Gear game was free to create new story elements but TPP has to set everything up for the games that chronologically take place after. It's the only game in the MGS series that has to do this, so the story may feel different than the others, hence why one might find it lacking.

What did you mean?

Series continuity and general consistency has never stopped Kojima from throwing whatever random stuff he wants into his games. Just saying.

and sometimes, not even common sense

A really minor pet peeve of mine is how the guns changed from actual real guns (like the XM16A1 and the AK-47) in MGS3 and Peace Walker, then to AKA47's in Ground Zeroes (like the MRS rifle or the Delta-114), then to real guns again in MGS1, 2, and 4. It's inconsequential, but when a great deal of your series is gun research (like how BB's favored pistol is the M1911, or SS's favored pistol is the SOCOM or whatever) it sorta breaks the immersion a bit.

Like I said, it's really minor nit picking, but in a game all about minor details it's something that stands out to me.
