Author Topic: Am I the only one who hates CS:GO?  (Read 14832 times)

There's a reason the ranks in CSGO aren't like Call of Duty where it consistantly goes higher and you generally will never go down. The accomplishment, and the goal of the game is to become the best. Literally. Not like CoD, where you prestige five million times, and then people laugh at the time you've wasted, with little to no reward. CSGO puts you up against others, and your rank gets put at risk every match you play. Not to mention, you make money off of the game. I've made enough money to buy a couple Steam games. It's payed itself off 5 times over by now.

Lmao really? the only thing you get is camos. That's it. All you do is look at it lmao. I don't feel like the person killing me is better in any way because he has a stuffty $300 M4 skin.
i mean, this applies to any shooter then
if i got killed by the last unlockable weapon in call of duty / battlefield with every possible attachment, it's not going to make me feel like that guy's any better, just played the game more

the skins are there so people can have some personalization, while also not making the game terribly unbalanced with unlockable weapons

woah wtf
7 pages already?

You know most people running around with skins bought them with 20 cent crate drops, right?

just wondering am i the only person here who breathes air or what....

yes

as someone who has played TF2, Battlefields 3 and 4, L4D2, PAYDAY2, and every CoD since Black Ops 1 extensively, CS:GO is the most toxic and intentionally awful online FPS community I've ever played with. I've still got 300 hours and counting, but sweet jesus it is completely undefendable.

Just out of curiosity, would you guys say that CS:GO's community is not as bad, as bad, or worse than Dota 2's community when it comes to new/inexperienced players?

counter strike is not realistic. counter strike is not meant to be realistic. counter strike should never be counted as realistic.

about the same, maybe a little worse

probably around the same but I generally had better luck with Dota than League

yeah cause one guy loving up on the team can cause a lose rate like that
fooor suuureee
this may be from a few pages back (and not entirely relevant_ but i'm a very serious competitive player in World of Tanks, and the teams are '15 v 15 or 7 v 7' instead of '5 v 5' (at least as far as competitive stuff goes to my concern), and I can guarantee you that if you're a stuff player you're dragging your entire team behind. The 15 vs 15 gives a tiny bit more lee-way but not a lot. The reason you keep losing is because you suck, and in a 5 vs 5 game, you have a huge responsibility stuck on your shoulders to win.

Sure, not every team is perfect, but if you lose 21 games in a row, it is entirely your fault. Git gud.

you are entirely right, there are games where if you look at the scores between the two teams every player will have a relatively even score. except for one player on one team, and you know why they're losing. if a single player dies it gives the other team a lot more control of areas and harder to retake if the bomb is planted

This 1000x over even though I play both on a regular basis.

Dota's nicer to new players because in most cases you aren't even expected to communicate. As long as you aren't intentionally feeding or being aggressively terrible you wont catch to much stuff. In CS:GO comp if you don't have a mic people are gonna be annoyed with you usually, communication is that important.

Again they are ALL OPINION.
I have been Annoying OrangeED
All along I have been led to be fooled, for this whole time it was all just an OPINION! WHICH CAN NEVER BE DEBATED! EVER!

Legit question: Do you have developmental issues? Like, did you fall kinda hard and dent up your skull or did something else happen?
