when i play csgo i usually end up being more angry than before i started playing

i've been playing counter-strike since 1.6 and i have to say my only problem with everything is the recoil (before source) and then the AWP (source and after)

basically
I have a strong dislike for the community which turned me away from the game
this is why i stopped playing csgo
the community is full of richardwads that will vk you for anything and spam stuff over chat and the mic
it's like every person who constantly plays the game eventually gets turned into an starfish themselves
it was too forgetin much

also: i'm mad because i'm bad
who loving wouldn't be
like this is a serious question
who on earth would not be mad if they weren't bad at the game??

Just out of curiosity, would you guys say that CS:GO's community is not as bad, as bad, or worse than Dota 2's community when it comes to new/inexperienced players?
its a mixed bag
in dota you usualy get the occasional lol and ez until you either come across a paragon of society or a guy who asks you rudely to abandon while saying gg and cyka

i dont play much csgo but the majority seemed a lot more respectful

And even if I mastered the game? Its still the same thing over and over. "Oh, I shot a person. I literally obtained nothing from it and gives me no reason to shoot more people because I don't progress any further in the game besides ranking up that isn't only time consuming, but also gives a poor reward."
Okay. How is Battlefield better than this system? For that matter, ArmA does not have any progression at all, you're playing purely for the sake of it. Does that make it the worst shooter ever?

Did you...
... Ragequit?
Haha Im funy

First off, the content.
For one of the largest played games in the world, I don't see why. There is a large lack of content compared to most modern shooters/FPSs out there today. There are only 5 (or 6) gamemodes, which is okay, but they're all too similar. Only thing different about them is the objective. You can end up playing the game for no more than 50 hours max, and experience all of the content the game has. Now, ADS, it would be a very nice addition to this game. I'm not saying no ADS makes this a bad game, but it would make it much more 'tactical' or 'hardcore' like the community likes to go for.
Let's see here

Deathmatch: warming up for competitive

Casual: stuffty version of comp

Arm's race: stuffty version of gun game

Demolition: ...

Then competitive: the main aspect of the game, and one of the best parts of it

While i do agree most of the gamemodes are bad, i don't agree it doesn't have content, look at surf, bhop servers, jail escape servers, minigame servers, etc.

Second, the community.
Holy hell, the community. Its almost as bad as the L4D2 community, when it was still around. Players take the game way too seriously. I've noticed that if the team loses based on one player, all of the other players on the team go ape stuff. People always make fun of other players, for very dumb reasons. The community is full of tryhards and douchebags. I've noticed when I first started playing and I wasn't too familiar of the game of what I should be doing, there would always be some kid who would rage at me for going in the wrong direction or getting someone killed or something. There will be some kid screaming 'GAS THE JEWS' in chat, and when I try to silence him, his circlejerk buddies votekick me out. The only map that EVERYONE wants to play in is Dust2, like the community has some learning gap and doesn't want to try new maps.
um are you talking about the competitive part of the community or the rest of the community? If you think about competitive communities tend to be idk serious? What do you expect from a COMPETITIVE GAME?

Weapon skins.
Weapon skins are a very efficient way for Valve to make money. However, they add no extra stats to the weapon, and people are spending more money on crate keys then they have on the actual game just to obtain some stuffty knife. Peoples lives are spent on collecting weapon skins, and its starting to get really loving ridiculous.
Wait how does this make the game bad, if anything that makes the game better, no pay2win stuff.

Okay, I will go into depth of why I do not like CS:GO, so don't just go straight up telling me that I'm a dumbass.

Shooting mechanics.
I don't mind sacrificing time to learn how to use the guns, but lets be real here. I'm a quick learner but I also quickly learned that on this game having your crosshair on the enemy ain't good enough. You have to have your crosshair on the enemy while barely moving AND burst firing. I don't care if you're right in front of the enemy. If you hold down the trigger the bullets will spray everywhere despite the fact you're aimed right at the guy standing directly in front of him. I unloaded a mag in a guys back and he laughed at me and turned around and shot me with one bullet in the face and I'm dead. Oh and don't even get me started on the amount of headshots this game gives away. The hitboxes are also very mediocre.
I can understand the hitreg is a bit weird at times, but honestly if you don't wanna deal with recoil then go to cod. Burst firing with certain weapons won't always be a certain kill, *cough* bizon *cough*.

i suck richard at a lot of games but as long as im playing with people i know im gonna have a great time none the less
of course if im playing with a bunch of strangers and i suck then i'm most likely gonna be at least a bit pissed off at first, but i'll attempt to get better at the game.

Okay guys, I went to bed at 12am. People aren't sure why I don't like weapon skins.
Like skins are cool and all, but you have to buy them with real currency. I find that stupid.
Honestly, anything costing over $1 to visually make the gun more appealing is just ridiculous. Like I said, all you do is look at it.
The $300 dollar skins don't even look good. Hell, if I were spending that kind of money on a game which I sure as hell wouldn't, I would expect it to give me Global Elite, not just "Oh your AWP is white, black and orange now."

There's much more to do in Battlefield than CS. Also, Arma isn't really a competitive shooter more than it is a sandbox. Theres months worth of player made content that can keep me entertained.

I still don't see your point. Skins don't make the game worse in any way besides making some of the guns silly colors. Are you complaining that the skins don't do anything? Because that's just handicapped, plain and simple.

Hell, if I were spending that kind of money on a game which I sure as hell wouldn't, I would expect it to give me Global Elite, not just "Oh your AWP is white, black and orange now.
you are saying that you would rather have a pay to win game than a pay for cosmetics addition to a game
what

There's much more to do in Battlefield than CS. Also, Arma isn't really a competitive shooter more than it is a sandbox. Theres months worth of player made content that can keep me entertained.
again there's community servers not just those gamemodes

you dont have to buy the skins if you dont want too

Like skins are cool and all, but you have to buy them with real currency. I find that stupid.
The majority of skins are made by the community. If you want to work for free, that's fine, but it is idiotic to expect others to feel the same.

There's much more to do in Battlefield than CS.
How so? You still run around and shoot guys, you just do it slower or in 3D sometimes.

Also, Arma isn't really a competitive shooter more than it is a sandbox. Theres months worth of player made content that can keep me entertained.
Both CS and ArmA have a minimum amount of base content with the majority of the meat being community made. You apparently just never took the four seconds to seek it out in CSGO.

Hell, if I were spending that kind of money on a game which I sure as hell wouldn't, I would expect it to give me Global Elite
Stop posting.

You don't have to buy them at all. I have skins for my AK and AWP, neither of which I paid for. If I wanted an M4 skin I have a plethora of extra skins I could sell to buy one of those, too.

It's not like Valve is selling guns for $300. They only sell keys, the community market is what has $300 skins.

You're acting like your objection to buying skins actually translates into CS:GO being worse somehow.
