Stop being so petty.
We both know what this is about, anyways. You took too long to set up the server so I just went with someone else, who I trusted more anyways. And plus, even though I put in 99% of the work you were still unable to keep me in the loop on the server setup status and give me a straight response on a certain someone who I didn't want on the admin team (Who was added there for a shaky reason in the first place).

If I remember correctly, in the week before Sunday, you said you would be home on the weekend and ready to host. On Sunday, you said you would be ready to host on Monday. On Monday, you said you said that you needed help setting up the server. You were really vague about this at first, but eventually I got you to tell me what exactly you needed help with.

You didn't need help with port forwarding, you needed help with setting up the actual GMod server (with steamCMD and all that). You asked me if I could help you do it for him over teamviewer. I said no because I already had my hands full with coding the modification. You took no initiative to find other people to help you with it until I asked you if you had (You would have probably never finished setting it up if I didn't ask.)

You asked one person, and apparently you ran out of people to ask or just forgot to ask more people and played video games instead. I recommended you ask people in the blockland teamspeak. You said you would. About an hour later I joined the teamspeak and chatted with some people, and I asked Xeidious (who had been connected for a while) if he wanted to help you set up the server, because it seemed like he was interested in it.

Fastforward to Tuesday. I asked Xeidious the status on the server and he said that the sandbox server was up but he was still working on it with you. I don't know how it takes an entire afternoon to set up a sandbox server with some simple addons and still have things breaking a day after. I don't know whose incompetency this was, but I doubt it was Xeidious's. I got fed up with this and decided to ask one of my friends if he could host instead. He set up the server and it was running 10 minutes after I asked him for help.

I don't know what you were doing on Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and the first half of Tuesday, but I'm fairly sure it consisted of not working on setting up the server and playing BeamNG Drive instead.

The issue is more of you not being able to give me a simple yes or no answer (Or really any answer at all) about whether or not he was going to be admin. I still don't know why you chose to make him admin in the first place, too.



This was a huge display of procrastination, laziness, and incompetence, so I just decided to not go with you hosting. I still don't know how someone with over 2,000 hours in Garry's Mod doesn't know how to set up a simple sandbox server. If I didn't nag you about it constantly you would have probably never got it done.

also this is in no means a loving simple sandbox server
do you not understand the work that goes into SVNing the addons over multiple hours of slow downloading, then mounting them to find out they dont even work?

As mentioned in his post, he used SVN. Some addons like ACF take a long time to even get because you're downloading the files piece by piece. Was your friend only getting like 5 addons and that's it?
