i disabled adblock once
the youtube ads were 3 minutes long and i couldn't skip them
also i was getting audio ads on other pages
i don't think im ever going to disable again

Pretty much this, intrusive ads alienate your viewers and scare them away.

tinychat used to spam a new ad every second, the whole screen would just flash, i couldn't even load them
i don't know why it was spamming but it would get so bad after about 5 minutes that i couldn't even browse the page
