Author Topic: This is why I kept my views on feminism away from my family.  (Read 30076 times)

Ever heard of this thing called.....I don't know, HUMANISM
You can have two different beliefs with the same qualities.
And really, you can be a feminist but not humanist because you can be a tribal feminist.

Please watch this, feminists, then shut up
you sound like some rebellious 12 year old on xbox live
but i know thats weong because youre actually 11
I know.
You just said you were rushed as an excuse to putting 100$ instead of $100. Are you handicapped, or are you losing track of your lies?

no one has mentioned anything this video has mentioned, this is completely irrelevant

2:No. I'm 22 years old.
3:I'm annoyed when people get so worked up about a simple mistake

1. I doubt that.

The only citation that article provides is a link to a 404, then to a page with further uncited and/or misleading figures. For example, listing the women in poverty, but leaving out that there are more homeless men than in any other category. The article has figured out that being a woman comes with its own set of unique problems in society, but leaves out men's. This is the problem with feminism. This exact mindset. For example, having to enlist in selective services to be able to vote, or males being the biggest victims of overall assault. The gender pay gap is based on an inspecific study that compared the earnings of full time men to full time women. It did not account for education or for hours. It's not as simple as "women get paid less because they're women".
Or rather, you think it's "toxic" because you don't agree with the ideology. Toxic is such a dumb word because it's used so often to fulfill this very principle, that differing opinions and beliefs is inherently bad or wrong.
No, it's toxic because it has such a corrupt influence on all of society. I disagree with it because it is toxic, not the other way around. Feminism is the establishment.
whenever you try to abort your man children its procrastination, but when a woman does its abortion
you can't support mens rights without supporting abortions  :nes:

What?
refer to my first post. those are literally the defined standard of feminism. feminism is gender equality. if you do not believe in gender equality, you are not a feminist. just because you say you're part of a group doesn't make it true.
i only feel the need to repeat it when someone legitimately shows signs of mental handicapation
Nonnel I'm going to attempt to explain something to you, for the fourth time now I think. ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS. You cannot use the dictionary definition as a shield to defend your ideology, because that logic will not support any weight. All the dictionary's definition allows you to do is to whitewash other feminists' actions by dismissing them as "faux feminists". It provides no actual argument. I have given you countless examples but you continue to parrot the same bullstuff. I understand the definition, Nonnel.

1: I don't care what you say about that
2: I don't care what you say about that
3:I lied about being rushed. I'm just really loving tired. Happy?

i'm not sure that you understand what the definition of "definition" is, though
you said it does not have a defined standard. it does.

1. If you don't care don't post.
2. If you don't care don't post.
3. I doubt that. If you're so tired why not go to sleep?

The standard is not really a standard. It's a definition of a word, not so much the people of the movement. It is the dictionary's job to define the people, not the people to become the dictionary's expectations. In other words, if a feminist is not for equality, the burden is on the dictionary, not the feminist. I seriously don't understand how you can't see what I'm trying to say. You have given me but one "example", and that is the definition. I have explained to you WHY the definition has no merit in this case, as well as instances, some first-hand experiences, that downright REFUTE the definition.

1. If you don't care don't post.
2. If you don't care don't post.
3. I doubt that. If you're so tired why not go to sleep?
I get insomnia from time to time. It's really loving dreadful

Get some prescription pills. They knock you out and help you wake up as well. Mine work great.

In other words, if a feminist is not for equality, the burden is on the dictionary, not the feminist
what the forget lol
that makes literally no sense at all. if you do not conform to the definition of a word, the problem is that you do not understand what the word means and you should use a different one. it does not mean that the definition is wrong.

It does, actually. If someone who labels themselves a feminist is not for equality, then they are still a feminist. The dictionary is descriptive, not proscriptive, and provides no actual argument. Refer to the burlap sack brown townogy from earlier.

"If I say I'm not tribal, I'm not tribal, even if I burn crosses on the front lawns of African-American people."

Do you see the problem inherent in this logic now?
I'm kind of annoyed you didn't reply to this, Derontchi.
Because to me that's a perfect reason why using a title (or not) doesn't make you that title (or lack of).
Words are defined for a reason, so we can use them. Misusing them doesn't change what it means. I'll defer to the lexicologists on this.
