i'm torn with this game. It has really interesting concepts and a great OST, the sprites are good etc. etc. but i can't bring myself to buy it because its in the same tier of cringe memes with fnaf which was stuffty in its own right.

I think it's really pretentious to off a game just because of its fandom. You alone choose who to associate with, and if you like the game and don't associate with most of the fandom, that's totally fine. But you need to give the devs their due and give the game a fair opinion on their work, not on something they can't control as a byproduct of their hard work.

yeah if you aren't into the whole fandom thing it's totally possible to just silently enjoy the game. i definitely wouldn't let it put you off the game; you'd be skipping a pretty unique experience because of something totally extraneous
