the comic itself was credited and the creator was aware and is appreciative of the comic's voice acting.
why are you being such a richard.

yo this is a story all about how your life got flipped turned upside down when you decided to learn fair use law.

(now i ain't implying you're stupid or something and don't know fair law, but i'd like to take a minute to talk about the fact that cubular is basically stealing artwork)

Credit does not pay for the bills of the artists and animators out there, credit is expected when someone posts your own work on the internet, plus I am fairly certain saying this underneath your post which contains the artwork means "DO NOT loving USE THIS ARTWORK AND MONETIZE IT ON YOUTUBE."

But Cubular is doing exactly that, he is monetizing the work that other people spent their time on drawing, posting it on YouTube and slightly editing it and guess what? This does not fall under fair use law, this isn't parody or this isn't something he did with direct consent from original owner (At least none that we know of, he hasn't posted any pictures proving that he actually asked any original creator of the artwork for permission to use the artwork in his videos.), Cubular is basically stealing the work that these people made and is expecting that it's okay for him to do this stuff.

Well, putting a link in the description of your video to credit to give artists some well deserved credit does not put his video under protection from fair use law. Even with that link in the description Cubular still needs the express permission to use the artwork from the original artist, nobody can go out and willy nilly grab artwork and use it without asking first and plus, he is monetizing these videos for (albeit a small amount) money-- which in the case of, I am 100% certain that no artist would ever agree to allow somebody else to make money off of their own works.

So, if I'm doing a pacifist run, do I have to literally spare EVERYONE? Like no fleeing at all?

you just have to not kill anyone and befriend everyone you can

you don't have to successfully spare every creature as long as you don't kill them. some runs you may not even run into every kind of enemy
Yep, that pretty much explains why I was having trouble.

yeah, you're right.  i never really put too much thought into the whole cubular thing.

Oh stuff I forgot that cuck was monetizing his videos. An extra "forget you" to him then.

Oh, I didn't know he was monetizing it
That's not cool

so how much money could he have made with over 1,400,000 views?

It's funny that he boasts his "9k followers" and metric stuffton of views of his videos, when none of that is attributed to original content. He has SFM stuff he made in the beginning, but you can see they have only 100-300 views.

to be fair a lot of people get their Real Start from doing things like parodies, fan works, and derivative stuff. it's a pretty good way to get a following if you're good at it and then you have an audience for if/when you want to actually make something original. some examples are Many youtube animators and musicians, lots of artists on the Webbo, etc.

yea but he's just takin other people's artwork/comics and just posting scroll noises over them
hell I could do that with this thread and do it using only my snake to move the mouse and press buttons

yeah that's a bit diff

Bit of a Scumbo Move if u don't get permission!!!

I don't have a problem if that's how they get a start for making original content, most of my stuff is music covers and remixes and bs. But when you parade yourself around and use it as an "argument piece" like "ohhh I have more subs so maybe u shud stfu looool" when your content is unoriginal, then there's a problem.

i think in general if you're trying to cash in e-creds to show your Internet Prowess in online discussion that's a bit Gross

i mean i guess it depends on the context but if it's irrelevant then Lol

i like how i make original stuff, and i get like 1.3k subs
he takes someone elses work, puts barely any effort into it, and monetizes that stuff and makes money
