ok mines are completed



here's how mines work:
there are 4 mines scattered around the map. 2 produce gold, 1 produces uranium, and 1 produces volcanium. weapons will require various amounts of these minerals depending on how good they are. in order to get the minerals from these mines, you have to capture them. once captured, the mines will produce amounts of their minerals every minute. players will probably have to forcefully capture mines that they want using weapons they crafted from the minerals produced from the mines. all of this means that we're incorporating dm into a previously boring gameplay mechanic which was having players physically mine resources with pickaxes n stuff. forget pickaxes.

its client sided, sort of impossible to do it server-sided but it is cool and it'll work with multiple vehicles n stuff
if i have the time ill pack it into a client addon and have custom sounds for every vehicle
so yeah coolness and whatever
ok so when i made the engine sounds stuff i wasn't certain if it was going to be included in the game or not, and for the past 6 months i've neglected it. but we've finally decided that every single vehicle will have engine sounds that'll play on the client side. the mod will be packaged into a client add-on that won't be required to play on the server. here's a newer demo of it:

the volume level for the engine sounds will be adjustable, so don't worry about it being too loud

progress: we are working on laws right now
right now the mayor has 30 laws that he can enact. you got actually serious laws, such as laws that control tax and mine production, and you have gimmicky laws like the mayor being able to set the e-tard. if you have a law idea, post it. it doesn't matter if its serious or not, just post it anyways

it is capture the point but the government can forget with it so its not

How about a law against insulting the government.

Maybe one with communism as a prerequisite that requires addressing people as "comrade."

Or perhaps a mandatory conscription law if that isn't already a thing.

As for silly ones, regulations for the appearance of your front lawn. (this is an actual thing where I live, including things like no solar panels on the front, no gardens, and no fences)

Maybe some silly governments like "tribal," "feudalism," "RNG" (all government decisions are made by an RNG, including changing government) "plutocracy" (appoints lowest ID on server as supreme executive) "Sith" (look up the rule of two on wookieepedia) "anarcho-syndicalist commune," or "theocracy "
