Author Topic: 11 Injured, 3 dead in Colorado abortion clinic shooting, gunman arrested  (Read 5769 times)

Media will continue to blow this up until  people are all convinced pro-life protesters are gunmen. It's inevitable. They know very well that extremists don't define the whole people group but they will drive this into the ground because they hate their world view so much that they would sensationalize it to extreme measures. This is nothing but fuel for left wingers.
True, similar to how the right wing media spreads bullstuff videos of muslims celebrating terror attacks (the one of pakistanis 'celebrating' the paris attacks was a video from years ago of them celebrating a cricket match)

^Is this what you mean? If not, when do you think that a baby's development stage suddenly allows for pain?
Going off of what I vaguely remember from Biology last year, I think babies start to develop nerve endings during the second trimester and wouldn't really feel pain before then.

Late abortions are cruel, but it's either that or another forgeted up family.

Yeah, to add to this for XR-7, Most abortions accurate in the first trimester, when the fetus is still VERY tiny and can not feel pain.

People who are against abortion tend to automatically think all people abort late ,which is rarely the case.

Whether or not the baby feels pain is indeed important, but I think the fact that he/she is an innocent Human life is much more important.

The title is misleading. Abortions are 10% or less than what Planned Parenthood actually does.

I'm pretty sure they're not sentient until late into the term. At what point does a clump of cells become a "human"?

From a scientific standpoint, the moment of conception.

At what point do they become a human in the terms of actually being able to feel, think, etc

this is what I meant

I'd say an independent heartbeat and a brainwave.
