Author Topic: STARWARS EPISODE VII: The Force awakens / Episode 8?! Already?  (Read 36892 times)

I liked r2d2 more than bb8 because he screamed a lot, similar to how I, too, scream a lot.
dammit

C-3PO was shoe-horned into Episode 7, as fan-service (and to check that Anthony Daniels is still alive.

And the thing about him having a red arm was just pointless.
Why tell us that some event happened to a pointless (in terms of plot of Ep.7) character, and not explain what it was at all. It had no relevance to the story.

This was a pretty good sfm

They need to get some better trooper models. Unlike the ones in the movie these guys seem very ill-proportionate.

I'll quote what I posted on Page 13 then if you dont mind
Kylo Ren has to be the most angsty and immature Star Wars villain I have ever seen. He's an emotional manchild who throws temper tantrums when things don't go his way. When his surbordinates fail to accomplish the missions he gives them, he doesn't kill them and instead rages and destroys everything in sight with his lightsaber. He reacts the same way a small child does when they get their favorite toy taken away. Add to that the fact that his officers not only aren't afraid of him, but they also TALK DOWN to him in front of his face and he doesn't do anything about it. In stark contrast, Darth Vader was a total badass. Nobody messed with him, and practically everyone was afraid of him. Whenever things went wrong for him, he quietly confronted the person responsible for the mess-up and coldly killed them right on the spot. His whole demeanor spoke professionallism and someone who had real depth to him. It took us until the end of Episode 6 to finally get to see all aspects of Vader's character and personality. But with Kylo Ren, we learn everything about him in Episode 7. We see his troubled side fairly quickly after he is introduced, and we see soon afterwards his inner conflict between wanting to follow the dark side and his pull by the light. He cries like a baby and yells in anger/pain like Prequel Anakin, which for me gives him a big thumbs down.

yeah because murdering your subordinates is the epitome of professionalism
are you a loving psychopath?

Planr, there is a need to have a difference between the original trilogy.

Darth Vader was professional and a true Darth because he was practically brainwashed into the Dark side. He instilled fear, because he was a follower of the dark side.

Kylo Ren is a whiny manchild because he is hardly a sith. He still has light in him.

He's corrupted, and he's angry at everything.
AKA, a sith with anger issues. Why can't we have that?

yeah because murdering your subordinates is the epitome of professionalism
it is if you are a sith

kylo ren doesn't even have sith eyes
