By this logic you're saying it couldn't happen.
Good job
Don't be a dumbass, people get mad and shoot other people all the time. Example: Florida. My father is a teacher and has seen their professors hit students in moments of rage, the same could easily happen with a gun lmao
holy stuff he just compared smacking a student to blasting them with a handgun and called
me the dumbass
I can't take you seriously but I'll explain for anyone who may agree with you
let's say concealed carry is now fairly common practice among school staff across the US. Just cc, imo open carry would be a terrible idea b/c of students' reactions and privacy reasons. Now, in order to get your ccw permit, you NEED to take a class. Pay for it, attend it, pass it, all that. So let's say there are a few professors whom have earned their ccw and teach at a college that welcomes cc for staff. Now take the ones that want to carry on campus, and have them talk to the administration about doing so. If the administration deems the professor unfit to carry on campus because they tend to be violent and act on impulse and/or get angry easily(would a person so violent even pass the checks to get a compact handgun to begin with?), then boom that professor can't take his gun to school or he's fired.
that's where your argument falls short, but I'll go even further. Back to the smacking/shooting comparison. tbh, if a student is being enough of a disruptive, disrespecting ass, I'm all for a professor hitting them once to knock a little sense into them. If the student wants to whine and sue, so be it. But are you really so cynical to think that a cc'ing professor, implying they passed the checks to get the gun, passed the ccw permit class, and got OK'd by administration, would pull their handgun out of its holster, rooster it if need be, flip the safety off, point it at the student, and FIRE on ONE student, much less MULTIPLE? In all the time it takes to pull the gun out and ready it to blow the kid away, if they even get to that sick emotionally-distraught point, you don't think they'd have second guesses on their actions or be incredibly hesitant? Maybe not, if they're psychopaths
"The same could easily happen with a gun lmao"
how much knowledge and experience do
you have with firearms exactly?
