A group of people had been walking in front of the driver around 11:50 p.m. in the 2900 block of North Milwaukee Avenue when Everardo Custodio, 22, began firing into the crowd, Quinn said.

The driver pulled out a handgun and fired six shots at Custodio, hitting him several times, according to court records. Responding officers found Custodio lying on the ground, bleeding, Quinn said. No other injuries were reported.

Media doesn't cover this kind of stuff like it should. But there you have it folks. Self defens and defense of others working how it should.

Finally something where a guy wasn't arrested and/or shot for self-defense

But he used a gun so we should make guns illegal

To say they are out right BANNED is incorrect.

It's not that they are 100% banned; they just have very strict regulations and you need a police permit (but they can refuse your request, and most of the time that's what happens).

And you are required to fill a "Letter of Necessity"; so if they claim your "necessity" is not valid then you got rejected.

Also you got to pay over $400 in fees (non-refundable even if your request is rejected).
Mostly its just the state giving people looking for self defense options a hard time

what are you on about
Amendments 18 and 21

18 was prohibition and 21 repeals it
