railroads are pretty easy to make, depending on the distance, I'm currently making a railroad leading to one of my Military Outposts and it's going to take a lot of rails because of the distance. But from what I've seen, teleporters take awhile to make.The main reason I dislike teleporters is because they make the game a bit too easy, some of you might call it productive, I prefer actual traveling and seeing the landscape, or railroads ofc.

This is all very true, but the main problem is that I live on a tiny resource-starved island literally six kilometers from everywhere else in the world.
