Author Topic: Internet privacy in the US is about to come to an end.  (Read 9173 times)

what kind of non-threatening information could be shared, hypothetically?
Everything.
Literally everything. Your bank transactions. What games you buy. All your online conversations. Your browsing history, personal information, anything that you want to keep a secret. And if you try to sidestep this by using tor or things like WhatsApp which uses encryption, then they'll target you even more because in their eyes, encryption is "suspicious."

You may not even care about this stuff and that's fine, whatever, but the majority of the population DOES care about this.

so what you're saying is, you're a liberal and not a conservative?
Rand is a republican, if that's what you're saying.

Rand is a republican, if that's what you're saying.
and almost all of his views are on a liberal spectrum
i have no idea why hes even running with the republican party

Socially he's one of the most liberal republicans yes, but economically he's still quite conservative which is I'm guessing the main reason he's in the republican party.

I mean I don't really care they can see everything I'm doing whatever

It's gonna be funny when they have to dig through half the weird stuff you guys look up tho but

The government is becoming farther and farther from the founding fathers' ideas. We need to fire every government employee and replace them with everyday people who don't make politics into a career.
I'm pretty sure the founding fathers had zero knowledge about the internet

Or we could try voting for decent people like Rand Paul instead of electing idiots like George Bush, Obama, Annoying Orange, etc
worry about your state representatives and senators more, they're the ones who vote on these things before it even gets to the president.

gee cant wait for a person who leaks all of someones info from this spying thing

I'm pretty sure the founding fathers had zero knowledge about the internet
Then explain Franklin, the kite and the key.

He was just trying to connect to the Cloud.

i don't really have anything to hide, but CISA isn't going to do jack stuff to prevent terrorism lol

tbh I don't get America's desperation to completely eliminate terrorists, and to go THIS FAR to counter terrorism that is, quite literally, a group of idiots on the other side of the world. Like seriously, people think that Muslims are the originated source of terrorism in its whole, and in Annoying Orange's case, that Mexicans are going to eat us all or something. I don't get people's need to "destroy CIA" or whatnot. Like I know this is very one-sided being safe and sound in a home a continent the world from any real major threat, but I'm apparently more competent than more than a quarter of American adults.

also dooble, that is the reason why you are going to be the blocklander of the year.

i don't really have anything to hide, but CISA isn't going to do jack stuff to prevent terrorism lol
That's the point of this discussion? All of this is pointless, doesn't stop anyone and only hurts essential liberties and freedoms.
