There was a DDoS on both Origin and Steam servers earlier today, which may account for why this happening.

Actually, I'm glad I managed to turn in my $20 Steam Wallet Code card thing and bought Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, that collection of Sam & Max, and CS:GO before all of this happened.

Phew.
(I'm gonna buy a lot of Half Life games tomorrow when all the stores are open again.)

my advice: don't click any links on steam, even official ones
i'd guess that steam is mixing up page requests between users, and if you don't send any such requests they won't get mixed in
of course that's only one such possibility.

i'm not really in much danger since i don't have any money in my wallet

EDIT: Looks like it's the same users over and over. If you're not one of them, I wouldn't worry.
