None of your parties has a scout, but just from your surroundings, the field is a featureless plain with a lone settlement surrounded by Bedri Hussein's troops.

An unarmed Tebessan cavalryman rides to your party and hands you a letter from Bedri Hussein, requesting if you'd like to fight a pitched battle (your armies gather in the field and fight instead of performing a counter-assault to his siege).

Travel to the building where Basil's Guild is based.
Inquire with the Guildmaster about anything I need before completing any errands or tasks.
The Guildmaster says you need a license before you can legally trade. In order to get one, you'll have to pay him half of what's currently in your pockets.

The dead are buried and the wounded tended to. The enemy party's loot is collected, with stolen valuables from Suwailim sorted out to be returned. He collects the head of the Khan himself and bags it for identification. A letter is made to notify Tebessan leaders of Kashmir's collaboration with the enemy.
A messenger takes your message and promptly departs. You will receive word soon.

Muamed grants the request of the archer, one Ahmed ibn Hatim, the Khan Killer. He will be the party's second.
Ahmed ibn Hatim joins your party as a companion. He is an Ambitious Hawkeye. His reputation as a Khan killer could grow from a good story into a proper title if he's established enough, but now is not the time.

Any living horses are collected as well.
Your warband rounds up 4 usable steeds.

Marsellus scours Basileus once more, looking for personnel who could train footmen, regardless of age.
You happen upon a crestfallen commander back from the Masovian front. He tells you of how his entire squad was decimated by arrows mere minutes into their advance, leaving him as the lone survivor with nowhere else to turn. He joins your party as a companion named Julius Vale. He is an Encouraging yet Pessimistic ally.

As your party make their move to Pizini, you can't help but feel as if you're being watched.

When you arrive, you speak with the town elder and take 8 untrained footmen as recruits.

Tu Khan: Hand the letter to Bulgar Khan.
Bulgar Khan accepts the pitched battle offer. He tells you and Chimbai Khan to ready your men for combat tomorrow. He looks unsteady but determined.

Guildmaster: Already eager to haggle, eh? Too bad it's my job to haggle, so I won't bend easy. Either pay the fee or get lost.

In addition to that, check with the local town hall about any recent embargoes or supplies in need for the war effort.
No embargoes have been imposed and the only resources needed for the war effort are men.

Your men begin their move back to Suwailim. A messenger returns to you with payment for the bounty and an enclosed letter from the sultan himself.

Your men keep their wits sharp and their blades sharper as they anticipate the slaughter to come.

Kaiki does as he says. Before though, "Do you do any other commercial activities besides that regulation of Carpaccian trade?"
Guildmaster: No, it is all we do. We make sure incoming trade routes get to where they're going and we map out routes for outgoing caravans. It's our duty to maintain punctuality and product fidelity.

Muamed opens the letter.
The sultan thanks you for taking care of Mughadei Khan and telling of Kashmir's treachery. He offers you vassalage and tells of the Ogdenian campaign's eerie silence.

Scour the village for budding crossbowmen.
You follow a beaten footpath a short distance outside of the village where you find several men practicing with crossbows. They don't appear very accurate, but they reload exceptionally quickly.

Rulers across all courts are now preparing to formally induct their mercenaries into their fold, thus listing them among the nation's subjects. Prepare yourself.

"Understood then."
"Are there any errands I could run?"
