I mean wanting to win is all fine and dandy, but if the enemy team is far enough ahead, it becomes a waste of time. If you're lvl 10 to lvl 15-17 and they have all their towers up, stuffs gonna be a waste of time. "Never surrender" is a bit silly, sometimes its better to just get into the next game. There aren't many complete blowouts like that tho.

Surrendering in high elo is probably a good idea if it's a stomp, but it'll be over by 20 anyways:^)

Depends. In low ELO, there's a seemingly high chance for the enemy team to throw while that far ahead. I've won a match that was 20-80 or so because they let us have baron 3 times and refused to end.

Then I think we're in agreement that surrendering in low elo is generally a bad idea.

In my ranked games in plat 2, games are so stompy that it doesn't matter if you want to ff, games rarely last more than 25 mins either way.

Yeah, I feel like surrendering is bad, shows a lot about the characters of people I'm playing with. I (about 95% of the time) say no when a surrender comes up because LoL isn't checkers, it's chess - which everyone in this ELO doesn't seem to understand. If your nexus isn't destroyed, there's always a possibility you can win, you just have to hope your team can outplay the opponent and capitalize on a mistake.

If your Queen (inhib?) gets taken out early game in chess, you can still come back and win the game by taking their King (nexus?).

Also, saying it's GG when we're 5-10 minutes into the game (Stockings -_-). It's not over till it's over! :D

The combination of some stage of puberty bombarding them with hormones, and the nondeveloped prefrontal cortex (and consequentially inhibited ability to make decisions) means that most of the players you encounter will be:

A) young
B) bad
C) salty

The reason for this is quite simple as stated before. You have an elo full of emotional wrecks that think they play better than they actually do, and as such, are never liable for losing. Attempting to insinuate to a silver player that there might be a correlation between feeding 4 kills in lane and losing the game makes their teenage brains explode.

Can confirm, as one of the people who used to be too salty to admit my own mistakes, bronze-silver is definitely the "not my fault" tier. The same way a kid will cry to their parents "it's not my fault" when they fail a test, instead of just admitting they forgeted up, is how a lot of people tend to conduct themselves in my games. I'm glad I took a long break from league after my ban to realize why I kept playing stuff. Feels good knowing that my last account got placed in bronze v but this one got placed in silver. Feels like improvement man.

Speaking of improvement, just qualified for my series. Wish me luck boys S4 here I come
