these students have absolutely ridiculous reactions
in my school everyone would be all over the club including some of the teachers
but the director would probably attempt to murder us
one time during our reciting of the national anthem (we have to do this only during certain events so only like three times a year) we added "revolution!" to the lyrics and got legally threatened cos it's actually illegal in this country
we still repeated it again
it's a miracle most of my class hasn't been expelled by now

it's mostly a problem when it becomes some weird prejudice or scapegoat. like if "sjw" is just used as a dismissive label that's not really a valid argument. there's nothing wrong with debating ideas, but just dismissing something as sjw nonsense doesn't really say or do anything
