Alright guys. If you don't cause too much of a ruckus, I can promise aI will have some resource maps done tonight.
Arconian farmers, after working to cultivate existing crops, as well as to gather information on what crops and agricultural practices are ideal for Arcon, form an assembly to help further agricultural practices. Sir Edward Guilles, an experienced manager of large farms, is elected to be the chairman of the board. The group has submitted an application to Parliament, so that the group might be funded in part by the government.
The Southeast Acquisition of 1823, although granting more land to Arcon, has upset indigenous peoples. These peoples are granted the right to keep their land, with the conditions that they follow recent and ongoing directions taken by agricultural projects, and that 10% of their land can be subject to conversion. Should they agree, Arcon offers them complete tax exemption for 6 years, and full citizenship upon completion of this term.
The Southeast Acquisition also has given it access to the river, which Arconian settlers have dubbed the Auligne River. The river's size allows for shipments to easily travel most of its length with relative ease. However, with the rise in demand for efficient river travel, steamboats begin to be more common.
The small port town of Côte Verte, located at the mouth of the Auligne River, expands as trade increases. Vagabonds from throughout the area begin to find work there as industry begins to move in.
