A wise choice, indeed.
The terms of vassalization are as follows:
Sonodine shall swear fealty to Romek-Inen.
Sonodine's state religion will become Old Norse. Christianity is to be expelled from the nation.
Sonodine's current organized military will disband.
To fight for their nation, Sonodine citizens must become a part of a Sonodine-consolidated Romekati regiment.
Such mixed regiments will become the fighting force of Sonodine.
Under regular circumstances, these regiments are under Romekati control, but in extraordinary circumstances the dominant state may grant some command to Sonodine.
Sonodine will consider the river international waters, and allow free travel throughout it by any entity.
With one exception. No non-Norse religious artifacts may enter the borders if they are commercial goods.
Romek-Inen will assist in suppressing the Sonodine rebellions, however common ground can be found with them.
Sonodine will adopt Romekati foreign and internal policies.
A free market, and no diplomatic relations with the outside world unless Romek-Inen strikes a deal.
The Sonodine economy will be integrated into Romek-Inen's economy.
Romekati nobles will be placed strategically throughout the Sonodine government to prevent thoughts of rebellion government-side.
The military, as decreed by martial law, represents the Parliament in the vassalization negotiation.
Sonodine swears fealty to the Romek-Innen.
Christian institutions are banned and their assets are liquidated and the proceeds go to Romek. Refugees are shipped on barges to Arcon.
The military of Sonodine agrees to disband.*
