o k

dunoo hows hes gonna make it tho, but he could probably do a romek-inen-->sonodide-->arcon (or direct to anglond)-->anglond jump. he'd probably have to worry about romek-inen/sonodide travel tariffs or some stuff. we'll probably tax a little higher than we do with conservatia (as if conservatian people are trading with anglish merchants, which is a p nice rate since we like conservatia guns) just for the issue of helping xeichi refuel for the way back.
i dont think crude oil was realized to be an actual power source, yet. don't hold me to that.
I'd rather not have to go into diplomacy with yet ANOTHER nation as I don't want to have to rely on multiple nations to help me trade with my Islamic brothering nation. I shall have outposts made along the way to your city, a dirt pathway could be constructed if you wish.

an amendment has been made to the vassal terms of sonodins

sonodine waterways are closed to all nations except for arcon, sonodine and romek-inen

they will open to those that successfully garner a trade deal with the realm

the reasoning behind this is that besides arcon, foreign nations have no legitimate reason to access sonodine waterways

the explorers are directed to the Larusian-Adenbell Capitol building, where they accommodated while an interpreter tries to break down the language barrier.

i c how it is :(

do you want to formalize the trade we've agreed on?

romekate gold and silver for anglish coffee and tea

and iron! we'll also give you salt. 8)

oh btw anglish farmers figured out they could just grow their own coffee.

i c how it is :(
Is this directed towards me? If so, It's just that I don't want to have to rely on the Romek-Inens for a trade route to your province. As they could easily stop my caravans from coming through their city due to their power.

i wouldn't accept your request anyway

Does anyone else feel like two major factions are going to rise and then have a fallout where almost everyone will be involved?

Milhamiah, seeing as it has been eclipsed, would like to fully offer themselves as a Protectorate of Seris, transferring their trade income and allowing their soldiers as subjects.

Expanding on the navy soon...

The Serisian government sends a Caliburn-class cruiser on a mission to establish an embassy in Acron. From there, the Caliburn-cruiser will establish contact with the nations of the Far Northeast. A second ship is sent behind it with equipment for a journey south from Wienza,

Acron - Establish embassy, trade negotiations will be initiated later
Avalonia - Establish contact
Angoland - Establish contact
Scotia - Establish contact
Conservatia - Establish contact
Espovon - establish contact

Milhamiah is accepted as a Serisian protectorate, the Milhamite navy is to disarm any ships above the frigate class, including any remaining transports.

Navy is put into docks and mothballed until war or something else comes that needs them.

how do we enforce this amendment? build a gate or something?

The City Authority is reformed to include ranks within the organization, and preferably lead by a military leader from Romek.

You can convert them to merchant ships.

Units of the Xeichi Empire: UPDATED

Matchlock Infantry
- 500 units of 90 (45,000 Soldiers)
The most common foot-soldier you will see on the battlefield, can be seen guarding the walls of the grand city of Xeichi.

Bow Cavalry
80 units of 50 (4,000 Soldiers)
These men were trained in the ancient ways of the Xeichi, they are skilled with the bow and are great skirmishing units.

Katana Soldier
Come in hoards (25,123 Soldiers)
Like the bow cavalry, they were trained in the ancient ways; but with a katana instead.

Islamic Royal Gaurd
  10 units of 20 (200 Soldiers)
This is possibly the most honorable position in the entire Xeichi Imperial Army, they are armed with top-quality muskets (thanks to trade with a fellow Islamic nation.) and have the honor of guarding the capitol in times of war.
