I gotta be honest, guys.  I am actually finding updating and constantly following this game to be a tremendous consumption of time and attention.  Frankly, I am seriously considering either dropping the project altogether or passing it off to anyone who I

There is bickering in Parliament. How does that affect my economy, development and military? It defies all common sense.

tell that to the guy who went and random ally killed 70,000 people with no hints or prior warning

The Caliphate releases information that the East Frisian Cotton Company is a front made by Anglond designed to attempt to gain total control of the Cotton market, in an attempt to make a monopoly off of it and in turn is attempting to buy out their rivals banks. The Chairmen of the caliphate all agree that this is a reason as to why Anglond simply cannot be trusted, especially with previous acts of the same and potentially greater caliber.

The Caliphate demands that they cease their unhanded roguery and admit to their wrongs, lest an embargo will be put in place and they'll be considered a threat to economic stability(as far as Conservatia is concerned) to the northern regions.

The Caliphate, with the production and arrival of the rifles from Arcon, begin to re-outfit their armies. The newly remade and revived siege battalions take priority, and the gun steadily spreads to the rest of the military.

Additionally, the Caliphate begins to export more grapes and wine, along with silk, herbs, legumes, and Conservatian couverture chocolate.

Additional, but quite gradual, works begin on stretching out some cbrown towns from the lake to reach the beginnings of the desert.

wait what?

whoa, a company is trying to monopolize?

wow, it's almost as if that's what every big business tries to do ever

I didn't know anglond was a company

I didn't know anglond was a company

all governments are companies

you're looking for corporations and businesses

Anglond does not control its companies and supports a free trade market approach. Anglond denounces these claims - Anglond has always provided for a free market approach by freeing the market!!!

Perhaps the Caliphate should bugger off and stop looking for reasons to fight Anglond. The East Frisian Company brings great profits in levies and furnishes the economies of its and others' economies. There is no need to dismantle this monopoly.

Brainwashing its people, ruining free will, against free speech! Nay!

Romekate, this Caliphate man hurt my feelings. He threatens the resource that keeps ur people from being cold at night!!.

I have more than enough reasons to start a fight. The betrayal is still fresh our minds.

Install any more moles, and then we'll have a real problem.

What betrayal, my dear friend? That was an attempt for coup, against the life of the King and, therefore, against the Republic. Generals, nay, traitors, told their disciplined soldiers to fire, and these soldiers were told to under threat of death itself! These Generals are rotting away, mind you.

A betrayal is a betrayal. We all know what you did, and trying to wriggle your way out of it.

The Caliphate ceases trade with Anglond, and all goods earlier being shipped to Anglond is now re-routed to Arcon.

is izlandia a vassal of arcon? when & why did this happen? i have totally been paying attention to international issues

Not at all, if you cannot accept these absolute DOCUMENTS proving the trials and testaments of the generals and their underlings, then you are mistaken and blind with rage, and cannot be trusted. It was a coup, I tell you.

we accept serisian boats and also adopt a almost-ish copy of their medical codes to clean up our society!!

The era of muskets is over. It is time for the rise of Jägerbüchsen; hunter-rifles.

It is planned for the military to have modernized itself by 1855 - the day it is also to meet the goal of 500,000 men in service.

What will come to be known as the Struggles comes to a rapid and somewhat bizarre close. The young Crown Prince, Wilhelm I, makes a speech before Parliament. A rousing orator of power not seen since the formation of Kyrev, he manages to silence all of the bickering lords in less than a minute. Through a series of agreements and cessions, all but a small few of the independents are satisfied. After 7 long years, the country finally returns to peace.

Kaiser Wilhelm I is crowned Emperor of the Realms of Kyrev. He finds that while during this time the country had kept up in major technological process, they had neglected the finer points. His first act is to standardize medical services as Seris has to combat the plague. Additionally, a military contract for this "needle rifle" pioneered years ago by Conservatia is accepted. Proper testing will commence next year, and if successful will be adopted in three.

Speaking of, where's my population after so many years and the expansion?
