Arcon sends out flag-bearers to the unclaimed desert to investigate where settlers are and get shot at by Georgean settlers, and thus withdraw. Arcon apologizes for any intrusion, but also tells the Georgian government to please restrain the settlers from taking shots at official surveying delegations. Luckily no one was injured or killed in the ordeal.
As Önecht III is growing old, he hands off chief responsibility of running the country to parliament, and establishes Sir Saville Lamontagne as a provisional president. Önecht III then focuses on dedicating time to his family, more particularly his heir, Önecht IV, who will become the new prince once Önecht III passes.
