i dont really see the point in competitive mode. its supposed to make more balanced teams but quick play does that already with mmr, right? all it does it makes games longer and force you to sit through stomps

I personally do but it's specifically because I'm a very competitive person and plan to get into Overwatch competitively as well so I'd prefer consistent high level play. I believe competitive mode is legitimately as it states, for competitive people. For people who want a challenge. You've had to have noticed how lopsided lots of matches are in quickplay by now, well theoretically those should be lessened or eliminated in competitive.

Also this is a very good trophy for casual players to acquire so that could be a reason as well assuming it's a good enough goal for you.
