what are you trying to convey here
30 losses, 32 wins, 68 total played

math doesn't add up but that's probably because he's left matches or something

30 + 32 + 6 = 68

everything in that picture adds up correctly

30 + 32 + 6 = 68

everything in that picture adds up correctly
fun fact: I am blind

what are you trying to convey here
ties shouldnt forget with the statistic like that
this is what it is
a tie is a tie, not a loss

ties shouldnt forget with the statistic like that
this is what it is -snip-
a tie is a tie, not a loss
a tie is not a win, so it isn't included as a win in win percentage
so (32/68)*100 is right

If a tie is neither a win or a loss then it needs to be excluded from the percentage calculation. There is no point for it to change the percentage if its supposed to be a neutral conclusion of a game.
If you win 10 games and lose 10 games, your win percentage is 50%. Games that end in a draw, according to Blizzard's design, should either be neutral or positive, never negative; this is also why you gain a (low) amount of Elo when you tie.
I'm sure the tie statistic affecting the percentage is something they forgot to change when they removed the coin system. I'll try to see if I can let them know with an e-mail. 😊
Out of interest on the topic from myself and others in this thread, I'll lay the question whether it should or shouldn't affect the percentage on my game design prof. tomorrow, so he can shed better light.

It's not like the opposing team got credit for a win and you didn't
Both teams were treated equally.

It says "Win Rate", not "Non-loss Rate" so it's not wrong
And I'm pretty sure that stat doesn't actually affect anything

why does the win rate matter that much anyways

why does the win rate matter that much anyways
my team competency rng is better than yours.

give me mercy

if you play 100 games, tie 99 of them and win 1, you don't have a 100% win rate
