her sniper's optic magnification is extremely low, but i'm coming from bf4 where 4x optics is the norm

I finally got this glorious game

I find it's fun to play Winston to take care of widowmakers
mostly because you just jump on everything and go zappy zap

I just counter-snipe widowmaker as Mei. I win 70% of the time, too

real men countersnipe with the d.va blaster

Yeah this is honestly a fine strategy. If she knows you're going to come around the corner to try and hit her then it's bad, but if you catch her off guard, even a bodyshot will put her at a low enough health that she can't just stick around wherever she is.

*now* i have my first legendary

you nerd you don't even have two like me

holy forget i love this trend of drawing D.Va like a goblin

sounds about right
are you implyimg meis secondary fire takes no skill either?

yes

I don't get this mindset. Mei's skill ceiling is insane, even comp players agree with that. Mei takes some serious skill to be good at. Of course she's not hard to be useful at low level play either (because holding down m1 at the enemy team DOES work) but if you die to that she better have caught you off guard, you better be a support/low damage tank, or you need to get better aim because she can usually die to most characters actively fighting her.

well
it is just a standard single shot attack
doesn't take much more to use than just aiming like pretty much everyone's primary attack
