i feel like zarya shouldnt be classified as a tank. her survivability is significantly less then every other tank unless youre doing constant hit-and-runs or fighting from a distance. not saying shes a bad hero, i can do great as her and her damage output is still pretty high, but still she doesn't match up with the other tank characters. i think her health should be toned back a little, and put into the defense category

this is mostly just because i want a new tank hero

As someone who mostly plays Zarya in ranked, I disagree.

gone from rank 37 to 51 in a week

so I was playing reinhardt on attack with an ana and she kept nano boosting me, but nobody else followed me to the objective so I got easily put down like 5 times in a row by their entire team

and of course we end up losing and I was thinking "that ana really wanted to boost me and only me but it didn't work, maybe they don't know why" so I decided to express my thanks and offer some advice post-game and

great

tbh I agree with those guys in chat thats its just quick play, although they didnt have to be that vulgar, but if you wanna be somewhat competitive in quickplay, form a group with your friends or us from the overwatch discord. If you solo queue in quick play and expect team cooperation, most likely that aint gonna happen because quickplay is mainly just messing around, casual games, or trying something new

While you're not wrong that you shouldn't have the same exceptions in quick play as competitive, that's not a good reason to tell people to forget off for offering advice
It's not like he's saying "holy stuff you guys are terrible you should quit the game"
Just "thanks, but try this next time"

if your first immediate reaction to someone showing an iota of desire to win in quickplay (while they're not being rude about it) is to tell them to play competitive instead, there's a problem

I can accept that people will do whatever they want in quickplay, but it should not be getting a reputation of being primarily a place where nobody cares about the game, because the only alternative is competitive where winning is the only thing people care about, which is why I don't play it

I don't play comp because matchmaking made me a handicap magnet

i don't play comp because i'm a filthy casual who doesn't meet the lvl requirements yet

So I've been having this weird lag problem whenever the first update with Ana came out. While standing in the spawn room or walking to battle, my ping is fine resting at around 40-60ms. Whenever I do get to some action I get these insane lag spikes all over the place, making the game almost unplayable for me. I am not getting this problem in other games. Again this all started to happen after the big update a few days ago, and the lag is only when there's action going on. Based off that, I'm guessing the problem has something to do with passing all that information back to me. I could sit in spawn for an entire round and not get any lag above 60ms. Once I go out to fight it can reach values up to almost 2000ms!

ye, but i never said u should play comp lol, i said if you wanted to play competitively in quickplay, probably could form a group since team communcation is definitely better than playing with randoms

what's roadhog's status in competitive because he usually forgets my stuff in low-level quickplay
