smash thread used to have weeklies that generally had over 6 people

the first ones got into double digits

Yeah, but that's just 2 people facing off at different times.

Getting 6 people who all live in different time zones to make a whopping 2 teams is not nearly enough for a tournament.

the matches were played all at the same time tho

like if there were 6 people, all 6 would play their matches at once

i'm just saying that the smash 4 tourneys (which means a good portion of the people on the smash thread didn't even play sm4sh, but rather melee) had the same amount or more than enough people in 1 tourney to make an overwatch match

technically if you had 12 people u could hold a tourney though, first round is two sets of 1 team v 1 team, then the winners of those play against eachother, and make it double elims so the 2 losers duke it out and whoever wins the loser's bracket fights the winner of the standard bracket

idk what everyone is on about, Akio is right. sombra is so stuff even, that she is solely used as utility if ever, never for actual DPS.
and with utility i dont mean going invisible either, just hacking medkits and maybe sometimes a rein shield. thats literally it

my friend and i were messing around on oasis and found that if you bubble someone right as they are about to hit the car, and they jump right when they hit the car, they go flying and zarya gets a free 40 charge. it also keeps the recipient alive and can be done very fast and consistently. not gamebreaking, but neat

i'm not disagreeing that she's more of a utility than a dps or that she needs a buff
the point is it ultimately doesn't matter all that much in quick play and he brought it up for no real reason other than being an starfish about it

jesus forget i updated the game and it's still on winter wonderland for me
nevermind apparently the event's still going for some reason and i was under the asumption that the updated ended the event too but oasis is here anyways

honestly tho they really need to change sombra, shes such trash. i agree shes fun to play sometimes in qp, but still, itd be cool if she was actually useful

or just remove her and add more tank heroes

increase her mid range damage, overall damage, normal movement speed, and she'll be a less viable tracer. still an upgrade from absolutely useless, though.

at this point, they should just rework her kit. she is the only hero that can't keep up with the game on every map

that might be my fault, I assumed the event was over too when I mentioned the game updated

though it was only supposed to last until the 2nd and the event image is gone from the launcher so I'm not sure why it would still be going

pretty sure sombra is at a "never play ever" standpoint in literally every gamemode

lesson learned: even if you get a really good ult as sombra, she is still by far the stufftiest character in the game

up in the first place, i didn't say she was good or bad just that i was doing well with her in qp and having a fun time with it

thankfully im not at a dogstuff level where people think sombra is good, so usually a "hey play something else" works

lesson learned: don't argue and call other people wrong when you don't know what you are talking about and/or are playing at such a low mmr (plausible) that players actually think sombra works (in simpler terms, are bad at the game).

oh, i thought you were replying to this part of my post cus it kinda seemed like you were

- i got the achievement of emping all 6 enemies and it was glorious
unfortunately we still didn't win even tho our team was coordinated in our ults but idc getting achievements in this game get me pumped tf up

really tho i do agree that sombra's not all that great in higher mmrs and she should get a buff somehow, i'm not arguing with that
