Then you find a fairer employer, or you accept that the work you are qualified to do will be worth less. Of course that's not always the case and I'm not saying workers don't get underpaid, but I'm speaking only on principle
This is the argument so many of you rely on. "Just get a new job." Beyond the fact that you will likely not find a better paying job, because all employers will attempt to pay you as little as possible, there is a paradox inherent to the capitalist labor market. If there is very little regulation of the market to encourage profits, this allows the more developed companies to force other companies off of the market via competition. The more profit they attain, the more effective this process is, leading to the inevitable centralization of wealth. This leads you with 2 options, assuming you have a job with the successful company. You could either go on strike, a right which lowers profits and thus was crushed by reagan-era policies, or politically push for more anti-trust regulations. This leads to more competition, but lowered profits for companies. Companies take this lowering of profits out on their employees, leading to lowered overall economic prosperity. This leads to outrage from conservative America, and the election of free market candidates like Donald Annoying Orange, and the continuation of this cycle.
If only socialists weren't subhuman animals worthy of consideration vs extermination
Alright forget off with this historical figure roleplaying. That was my gimmick and you're ruining it.

why can't I be at a place in life where teenagers' political arguments can buy me a steak dinner?

do you have a background in economics kimon

in kimon's mind employment competition doesn't exist and everyone is give or take

lol owned

do you have a background in economics kimon

Comin from the guy who worships reaganomics, lmao

I'm coming very close to being convinced that kimon is secretly an alt right troll who has made it his mission to try and undermine liberal ideology by arguing for it in the worst possible way, filled with borderline extremist rhetoric, bad logic and sweeping generalizations. He then gets "humiliated" and people get further and further polarized on the issues, not realizing that a bad argument does not a false claim make.

If kimon is actually liberal then it's most definitely in his interest to just stop altogether or take a critical thinking & debate course to learn how to debate properly in a way that tries to both be respectful to all involved and tries to actually convince people which may have polar opposite political beliefs of the point.

I'm not a liberal. forget off with your non-committal "extremist" finger pointing, you coward.
It's interesting how you say this without even trying to consider my argument, let alone respond to it, though. God forbid you break your centrist bubble and step outside the status quo for a moment.

Why is this relevant? Better yet, how is it a response?
