dont think they said they'd be in charge of the transition considering they got 0 seats in the latest general election (first past the post sucks, in 2015 they got 3.9 million votes and 1 seat and the conservatives got 12 million votes and 330 seats - though in the 2017 election they only got 600,000 votes since the conservatives co-opted their policies and the 2016 referendum had been won).

the conservative party also wanted brexit and anybody who voted conservative in 2017 knew this, apart from the tribals, many socialists wanted brexit too cause the eu is a power hungry capitalist organisation

you cant really talk stuff about the leave campaign when both campaigns lied and were terribly organised (see 2011 AV referendum) but i agree this whole thing is a mess, we should just divide the country in two and have all leave go to one side and all remain on the other side, federalism works imo
