That's not the point it's trying to get across. It doesn't say anything about the wealth of other candidates. It talks about how Sanders is and always has been a lazy bum that has never accomplished anything except screaming socialism, despite having the ability to be sent to college and earn a degree.

Their point isn't necessarily that he is poor and thus unfit to be president, but that he has been extraordinarily unsuccessful throughout his life in everything he has tried.

Honestly, Kasich seems like the best candidate record-wise. I'm not saying he's perfect, but he's the best one as far as I can tell. The one thing I truly dislike about him is that he thinks he can balance the US budget, which is virtually impossible.
